Our shallow, sandy, family friendly beach has a gradual entry, making it ideal for younger children.

The  beach, as well as the free use of the paddle boards, double kayak, canoe and lily pad mat, are shared by all of our guests.

Jack's Lake provides a wide variety of structure, ideal for catching: pickerel (walleye), large and small mouth bass, muskie, crappie, as well as lake trout.

The public boat launch can be found down the road located in front of FOREST GLEN MARINA.    

FOREST GLEN MARINA is also the home of FUN ON WATER RENTALS and drop in outdoor YOGA ON THE LAKE. 

ANCHORAGE MARINA is a short walk away. You can enjoy ice cream cones, hot sandwiches, milkshakes and more.

Jack's Lake Lodge is a convenient 5 km drive to the small town of Apsley, where you can find: the local Grocery Store, RBC ATM, Hunter's General Store, LCBO, Calm 'n Ground Coffee Shop, Grape & Wedge Artisan Takeout, Guardian Pharmacy, Kemp's Gas Station/Garage, Tucker's Marine, Shoreline Furniture Co., Four Seasons on Wellington Street gift shop, North Kawartha Public Library, Apsley Medical Centre and the North Kawartha Community Centre, featuring a fully equipped gym and ice pad.

Interested in a little more adventure...we are located 20 minutes from the beautiful and scenic Marvel Rapids Golf Course, the very peaceful and tranquil Silent Lake Provincial Park, Petroglyphs Provincial Park,  Kawartha Highlands Park, Gut Conservation Area, Kawartha Nordic X-Country Ski Trails and easy access to Snowmobile trails.

For those willing to travel a little further, we are a 45 minute drive to the Buckhorn Berry Farm. Great for Maplefest in March/April, strawberry picking in June/July or running through the corn/hay mazes, while picking your pumpkin in October.
